PURPOSE:To enconomize the heating steam in a heating system in which water in a heat accumulating water tank heated by the steam is used as the hot water for the air heating purpose, by arranging such that the water from the tank is firstly used for cooling a motor and the cooling water after the cooling of the motor is recirculated for the cooling of the motor or, alternatively, returned to the heat accumulating water tank through an automatic control of a valve in accordance with the result of a comparison between the cooling water temperature at the motor outlet and the water temperature in the heat accumulating water tank. CONSTITUTION:The water in a heat accumulating water tank 1 is heated by the steam 2 from a boiler and is used as hot water for heating the air. A part of the water in the tank 1 is shifted to a cooling water tank 9 so as to be used as cooling water for cooling a motor 3. The water after the cooling is either returned to the cooling water tank 9 or the heat accumulating water tank 1 depending on its temperature by a suitable operation of valves 6, 7, 8 under the control of a computer 5. More specifically, the computer 5 compares the cooling water temperature T1 at the motor outlet with the water temperature T2 in the tank 1 and operates to give a signal to return the water to the heat accumulating water tank 1 when the temperature T2 is higher than T2, and to return the same to the cooling water tank 9 when the former is lower than the latter, through the control of the valves 6, 7, 8. Since only the cooling water of sufficiently high temperature is allowed to return to the heat accumulating water tank 1, it is possible to economize the heating steam. |
