CONSTITUTION:In the stage of changing strips from thin to thick ones by conveying the strips continuously into a furnace wherein hot wind is blown, the temp. of hot wind or the rate of blowing of hot wind is beforehand so controlled with only the second half zone of the furnace that said thin strip attains the upper limit of the temp. range permitted in the outlet part of the furnace prior to changing.
