PURPOSE:To facilitate replacing and centering of a cutting tool by holding a cylindrical shank of the cutting tool through an inner circle of a tool holder. CONSTITUTION:A cutting tool 3 having a fixed tip edge 4' is secured fixedly to a cylindrical shank 1. The cylindrical shank 1 is inserted and fitted in an inner circle 18 of a tool holder 5 and fixed by a fastening bolt 6. A tapered portion 5' of the tool holder 5 is fitted in an inner circle 20 of a holder 19 and fixed by a wedge cotter 14. The holder 5 is easily replaced by adjusting the tip edge 4' with the bolt 6 so as to locate the tip edge 4' at a predetermined position. |
