PURPOSE:To prevent the conveyance of superposed copying forms by running the copying forms between nip rolls for a surface treatment, one by one, individually right before superposed paper webs are cut at a time to a small size, and reducing the difference between the coefficient of intralayer static friction and that of interlayer static friction of paper to <=0.03. CONSTITUTION:Slit paper webs 1 are pressed between pitch rolls 8 and nip rolls 9 and cut laterally with cutter knives 10, and then each block of several sheets is conveyed by being sandwiched between belts of paper pressing top rolls 11. In this case, copying forms are made run individually, sheet by sheet, between nip rolls 9 for a slight surface treatment right before superposed webs are cut to small size at a time to reduce the differene between the coefficient of intralayer static friction and that of interlayer static friction of the paper to <=0.03. Thus, the trouble due to conveyance of superposed forms is prevented to perform copying operation efficiently. |
