PURPOSE:To enhance the assembly accuracy and strength of a rotary compressor by arranging a projection for locking a motor as well as a projection for locking a pump part in predetermined positions within a closed casing containing the motor and the pump part. CONSTITUTION:A casing 21a constituting a closed vessel 21 is formed with a projection 21b for locking an electric motor 3 and a projection 21c for locking a pump part 2 in the upper part and the lower part, respectively. Upon assemblying the compressor, the pump part 2 is at first inserted into the casing 21 from the upper part, and then, the lower face of the flange part 9a of the pump part 2 is abutted against the locking projection 21c. Next, the lower surface of a stator 3a in the motor 3 is abutted against the locking projection 21b. |
