FIXING DEVICE FOR STATOR WINDING

PURPOSE:To strengthen the fixing of a stator winding to the inside of a slot and to prevent damage to an insulating layer by a method wherein an expansion body expanding in the thickness direction by heat is arranged between the stator winding and a slot side wall. CONSTITUTION:In accommodating a stator winding 1 in the slot 8 of a stator iron core 7, an expansion body 9 is arranged between the side surface of the stator winding 1 and the side wall of the slot 8. The expansion body 9 expands in the thickness direction 12 by thermally contracting in the shaft direction 11 by heat and the surface of the expansion side faces to the stator winding 1 or a slot side wall. This expands the expansion body 9 by heat at the time of operation to strongly press and fix the stator winding 1 and prevents damage to the insulating layer 1c of the stator winding.
