<p>The appts. contains a system to rotate the body, at least one sensor which gives a signal to represent the effect of the centrifugal force on the rotating body and a unit to measure and display the unbalance. The measuring unit contains a memory to store the values of two rectified and filtered signals proportional to the unbalance measured during two consecutive swings between which a compensating mass is placed. The measuring unit calculates and displays from these two values, the complementary balancing mass needed. It is necessary neither to enter parameters, nor to verify the calibration. Operation is simplified and gives quickly and accurately the static and dynamic unbalance. The values are stored by adjusting the gain of an amplfer associated to an analogue display. The graduations indcate the complementary mass for balancing according to a preset expression.</p> |
