PURPOSE:To quickly execute a flaw detecting inspection without requiring a water storing time, and also to reduce a nonflaw detection area, by preparing a local acoustic coupling water reservoir on a probe holding part, and obstructing a scatter of flow detecting water by a physical means. CONSTITUTION:Flaw detecting water 16 is led into a probe 13 through a water feed hole 15. In this case, a local water reservoir part 19 is formed by selecting the pressure and flow rate of the flow detecting water 16, and balancing it by centrifugal force working on the flaw detecting water 16 by a rotation of a probe holding part 12. A surplus portion overflowing from the water resevoir part 19 is discharged to the outside of the probe holding part 12 by utilizing circumferential direction waste channesl 17, 18 and axial direction waste channels 20, 21, so that the flaw detecting water does not scatter into the inside. In such a state, even if a material to be flaw-detected 11 is inserted into the probe holding part 12, no flaw detecting watter goes into the inside of the material 11 to be flaw-detected, and an ultrasonic wave is transmitted from a transmitter 14a by utilizing the flaw detecting water 16 of the water preservoir part 19, and is received by a receiver 14. |
