Music teaching aid for children - uses modules each generating specific note and positioned on table marked with note lines

The teaching aid for young children is intended to convey the basic structure of musical notes and tunes. A base board (1) has a metallic top surface. A number of note generating blocks (2) with a magnetic bottom surface, may be located on the table on any of the lines. Typically the note generating block may be in the form of a Xylophone key of a simple design consisting of a metallic strip freely mounted on a damping support. Each block has a specific note that is represented in symbol form on the top surface. Exercises based upon simple tunes may be described to the child who then positions the blocks and generates the notes.
