Demonstration equipment for physical experiments - especially for illustration of mutual influence of two magnetic fields

The apparatus finds application in teaching demonstrations to illustrate a number of physical phenomena especially the influence of magnetic fields. One embodiment includes a liquid crystal display unit retained between a pair of transparent plates. One component is an electrical coil around a ferromagnetic rod attached to an aluminium extension rod. Another unit consists of an electromagnet with an iron cylinder and a force meter. Measurement of the force arising is obtained from strain gauge measuring units. The digital display obtained from magnetic field force measurements may be magnified by means of a daylight projector with a tilting arrangement enabling it to be moved through an angle of 90 deg.
