PURPOSE:To mold a molded object having a highly precise dimension with a die clamping device of simple structure by a method wherein a holding member fixed on the side of a die clamping cylinder and a controlling member mounted at the circumference on the side of the movable plate of a die clamping ram are engaged and disengaged, attached and detached freely. CONSTITUTION:A movable plate 2 is moved forward by a die clamping cylinder 3 to shut dies 6, 7. Thus, a controlling member 12 is revolved in a circumferential direction and the convex parts 15, 15 at the rear end of the controlling member drawn from cavities 14, 14 of a perforating hole 13 to the outside of the holding member 11 are shifted from cavities 14, 14 and positioned at the end face of the holding member 11. After resin is injected into dies 6, 7, pressure oil is given to a die clamping cylinder 3 to pressure a die clamping ram 8 secondarily to advance a movable plate 2 as far as it comes in contact with the contact surface between the dies 6, 7. Thus, a molded object having a highly precise dimension can be molded with a die clamping device of simple structure. |
