PURPOSE:To produce a mosaic screen electronically in real time, by extracting intermittently the TV signal on a time axis to store it and then reading continuously the stored signal through the intermittent part. CONSTITUTION:An input video signal is sampled with every certain period by a sampler 1 and then converted into a digital signal. The digital signal is led to a memory device 2 to be intermittently stored. The information is written into the device 2 with every 4 sample periods for example. In this case, a writing address which increases its value by one with every 4 samples is used. Then the written information is read by means of a reading address which increases its value by one with every 4 samples. Thus a minute change of the input signal is ignored to obtain an image which is enlarged at a certain point on the screen. This process is carried out simultaneously also in the vertical direction of the screen. Thus the input video signal is composed of the mosaic small pieces. |
