In a device for superplastic deformation of metal sheets, especially titanium sheets, and simultaneous diffusion bonding with the aid of forming, pressure and heating elements and of pressure-loading by means of a fluid, the production of the titanium sheet sandwich is accompanied by the production of a two-cut edge formation in the planes of the covering sheets, it being possible for the individual or combined rim lengths to adopt any desired angular position and to be provided with reinforcements. <IMAGE>
