Novel apparatus for the automatic extinguishing of smouldering cigarette butts

As is apparent from the descriptions and drawings, the extinguishing apparatus for smouldering cigarette butts is referred to in brief as the "apparatus". The funnel-like shaping of the apparatus and the expediency of the material form a unit which is refractory and odour-inhibiting. The apparatus can be supplied or manufactured to be hung in or on the ashtray or fixed by pins or adhesion, or fixedly installed within it. The loose apparatus can be attached variably, as desired, at any point of the ashtray.
