A device is described for air-conditioning walled-in spaces, in which predetermined temperatures and air humidity levels are to be maintained, in which device a coolant compressor, a coolant evaporator, air coolant condensers, expansion valves, air humidification devices and blowers or fans are connected in an electrically regulated manner to a number of interconnected coolant circuits in such a manner that the heat extracted during the dehumidifying of the space air is returned into the space again using the principle of a heat pump.
