The invention describes a supplementary operating table for the purpose of extension and repositioning of an extremity as a preparation for marrow nailing of bones or the like, having a frame which is movable on rolls and has a longitudinal support with a proximal and a distal transverse beam, a counter-bearing being fastened on the proximal transverse beam and two pivotable legs with fixable extension stems being fastened on the distal transverse beam. In order to provide the surgeon with as much freedom as possible and to avoid restriction of the adjustment possibilities of the video recording equipment it is intended that the counter-bearing be mounted so as to be vertically movable in a freely standing, proximal supporting pipe which is integral with the frame, and that a freely standing post on which one of the legs is mounted be attached to each of the lateral ends of the distal transverse beam of the frame.
