Device for testing a body with an application-specific configuration for secureness and rigidity, consisting essentially of a fixed support structure with a plurality of elastic inserts which are provided for clamping-in the test specimen and are each held in slides which are mounted on the support structure. By means of pressure cylinders which act on the slides, local loads can also be applied to the anchored part of the test specimen. By means of radial bores in the slides or elastic inserts, displacement measuring rods for determining the deformation of the test specimen when loads are applied are provided.
