The hydrotherapeutic foot care apparatus has a mat or plate-shaped support (1) with a dense bristle mat (4-5) on its surfaces (2, 3) with the device fitting in water bath. The central area of the mat (1) has raised dome of britles (7, 8). The domed section can be formed by thickening the support whilst the bristle length remains the same over the whole length. Alternatively the bristle length can be increased in the domed section whilst the support depth remains constant. A strong massage effect can be achieved by walking along the mat underwater, or, in a seated position, by rubbing the feet over the mat, which also thoroughly cleanses the feet. The support can be made of wood, plastic or rubber etc. with rubber, plastic or natural bristles.
