PURPOSE:To prevent dirt of an optical system due to floating toner, by generating an air current from one side of a ''Selfoc '' lens toward the other side, between the ''Selfoc '' lens and a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:A ventilation flue 13 for making air pass through is formed by a baffle plate 11 provided on one side of a ''Selfoc '' lens 2 and a douser 12. When a cooling fan 16 is driven, air between an inner cover 14 and a platen glass plate 10 is absorbed through a suction port 15, crosses the lower side of the ''Selfoc '' lens 2 through the ventilation flue 13, and flows to the opposite side of the ''Selfoc '' lens 2. By this ventilation flow, a toner floating around the ''Selfoc '' lens 2 is absorbed by the cooling fan 16 without adhering to the ''Selfoc '' lens 2. |
