<p>A yarn feeder has a belt driven storage drum, the mantle of which supports the yarn reserve and is formed by separate rods; the yarn coming forward being guided by a surface inclined obliquely to the long axis of the drum. The guide surface is formed by the lower face of a belt pulley arranged to rotate on a bearing body and driven by a belt. The storage drum is rotatable on the bearing body on an axis inclined to the belt pulley axis and the drum rods project into separate drillings for each rod, the belt pulley. Device positively winds the yarn on to the storage drum and moves the reserve safely on its surface.</p> |
