A drying apparatus includes a cabinet, an open-ended drum having a horizontal axis disposed in the cabinet, support means for rotatably supporting the drum, an opening with a door disposed in the front panel and faced toward the open end of the drum, an air inlet port provided in the cabinet, an exhaust port provided on one side of the door on the front panel and communicating with the interior of the drum, drive means for rotating the drum in the direction in which the lower portion of the drum moves away from the exhaust port, and means for supplying heated air into the interior of the drum. |
