An ice-making machine of the kind which has an automatic change over system between freeze and harvest cycles and wherein ice is manufactured in one or more tubes through which water is passed and the or each tube is subjected alternately to freezing and harvest cycles, the harvest cycle incorporating the spraying of harvesting water over the or each tube and wherein the water used in the harvest cycle is arranged in a closed circuit so that the same water is used repeatedly for each harvest cycle.
