PURPOSE:To measure the thermal constant in the earth accurately and readily by inserting a plane shaped heating body to which a temperature measuring element is attached into the groove that is dug in the earth, closely contacting the temperature measuring element to the soil, and pushing the movable part of an earth temperature measuring element. CONSTITUTION:The plane shaped heating body 4 is inserted into a long hole that id dug in the earth. A sensor 5, which is attached to the lower part of the heating body 4 is closely contacted with the wall surface of the long hole 3, and the heating body 4 is fixed. The movable part 6b of the earth temperature measuring body 6, which is attached to the upper part of the heating body 4 through a support 7 is pushed into the earth. A sensor 6d, which is attached to the tip of a protecting tube 6c that is fixed to the movable part 6b, is inserted into the earth that is not dug by about 10mm. and held at the same position as the sensor 5. The soil 9 is returned to the hole part. By measuring the temperature variations of the sensors 5 and 6d, the thermal constant of the soil can be obtained accurately and readily. |
