PURPOSE:To reduce the load to an MPU (microprocessing unit) and to extend the range of general purpose property of a pulse motor, by performing its acceleration and decceleration control without the aid of the MPU. CONSTITUTION:In acceleration and decceleration, signals are struck from a DMA (direct memory access) control circuit 13 to a DMAC (direct memory access controller) 5. Between a memory 6 and a latch circuit 9 the data is directly transmitted without the aid of an MPU 1 through a data bus 2. The value latched to the latch circuit 9 is loaded to a counter 11. The counter 11 counts clock signals corresponding to the then count value. When the count value gets 0, a shift pulse is generated. In constant speed, no new count value is loaded to the counter 11. In accelerating and deccelerating mode, the shift pulse is therefore outputted, shortening or lengthening its intervals, while in constant speed mode, it is outputted with the same intervals. A pulse motor is driven in response to this shift pulse. |
