PURPOSE:To improve the prediction accuracy for the timing for exchanging a filter cloth by forming weft of synthetic resin monofilaments of the different colors to permit easy identification of the central part and outside layer part. CONSTITUTION:The synthetic resin monofilaments 10 which are respectively different in the colors of the central part 11 of about 20% sectional area ratio and the remaining outside layer part 12 are disposed to part or the whole of the weft to form the filter cloth 15. The decrease of the remaining strength of the filter cloth to 60-70% of the initial strength is predictable from the change of the colors when the central part 11 is exposed on partial wear of the monofilaments 10. The timing for exchanging the filter cloth is, therefore, exactly predicted by the above-mentioned method, by which the prediction accuracy is improved. |
