The boiler uses solid fuel only, or a combination of solid fuel and oil. With solid fuel the combustion direction is reversed. A fuel bunker is accommodated in a space in the boiler, having a grate at the bottom and being sealed off gastight from the flues. The flues run around the space to a separate chimney. When running on oil, the combustion gases are discharged via a separate flue. |
