Bicycle crankshaft assembly.

A crankshaft assembly for use in a manpowered vehicle such as a bicycle and tricycle including a self-adjusting mechanism is provided. The self-adjusting mechanism includes a pusher member (7) slidably mounted on a crankshaft (2) and biasing means, preferably a coil spring (8), for urging the pusher member (7) against balls in the direction along the rotating axis of the crankshaft (2). Provision of such a self-adjusting mechanism allows to provide a maintenance-free crankshaft assembly.
