PURPOSE:To improve workability and to reduce equipment costs by carrying the molding frames for top parts and bottom parts for molding use of a blowing system and a squeezing system. CONSTITUTION:Squeeze tables 9, 9' carry molding flasks 1, 2 as they are moved automatically between a squeeze station 10 and releasing stations 8, 8' alternately by a junction conveyor 5. In the station 10, a movable hopper 12 charged beforehand with molding sand from a stationary hopper 17 is moved to said station, and a skirt 19 is lowered by the operation of an operating cylinder 11a to close the space between the hopper 12 and the flask 1. At the same time, the hopper 12 is closed tightly by a pressure resistance cover 16, and compressed air is introduced through a hose 15 to extrude the molding sand from the through-bottom 24 of the hopper into the flask 1. In succession, the table 9 is forced upward by the operation of the cylinder 11, by which the squeezing is completed. After the cylinder 11 and the skirt 19 are returned to the home positions, the flask 1 is returned to the station 8, where the mold is released, and the released flask 1 is delivered to the next molding stage. |
