PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which prevents the generation of negative pressure in the clearances between sliding surfaces, etc. and has a bubbling function as well by forming a gas blowing part for preventing negative pressure and vortexes and a gas blowing part for bubbling in the arbitrary places of the circumferential walls of upper and lower charging holes near the sliding surfaces on a stationary plate side and on the sliding surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A gas for bubbling is supplied through a required as supply passage 4 to a porous member 3 provided on the circimferential surface of the charging hole 2 of a stationary plate 1. The supplied gas is blown into the molten metal flowing in the hole 2 by which the molten metal is bubbled. Also the gas is blowsn ti a corner part 6 forming the zone where the genertion of negative pressure is forecast, through the member 3 then through a gas conduit hole 5. It is equally well to supply the gas by forming the passage 4 and the passage 5 into separate routes. By using said sliding nozzle device, first a required volume of the gas is blown into the molten metal flow to bubbles the metal, whereby the deposition of alumina is prevented and impurities are removed; at the same time, the gas is blown similarly to the corner part 6 to prevent the inclusion of air by the negative pressure generated in the part 6 as well as to prevent the generation of the vortexes owing to cavitation. |
