PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of error of pitch, defective toothform etc. and cut a high tension material to racklike toothform by restraining terminal side of gas cutting and relieving elongation to unrestrained side at the time of cutting. CONSTITUTION:A fixing beam 1 is installed on a foundation, and one end of a steel plate 4 to be cut is fixed by welding to the fixing beam 1. Under this state, gas cutting is performed along the racklike toothform A from the direction of the arrow A. Longitudinal elongation due to heat at the time of gas cutting is relieved to the direction of other end which is in an unrestrained state. In this case, to facilitate relieving of elongation, the steel plate 4 is supported by receiving stands 2, and supporting parts of the stands 2 are made up of rollers 2a so that elongation is easily relieved to unrestrained other end. |
