PURPOSE:To decrease the cost of the installation for the heating appliance, by combining an electric generator utilizing irregular, natural energies such as a wind power and a water power, with a specific electric heater of heat accumulating type. CONSTITUTION:An electric heating device 3 of heat accumulating type which is directly connected to an electric generator utilizing irregular, natural energy such as a wind power generator 1, is composed in the manner that a heating medium 5, an electric heater 6, a thermostat 7, and a heat radiating plate 8, are sealed in a sealable container 4 of high heat conductivity. A substance which is solid state in an ordinary temperature, of which melting point is 20-70 deg.C, and of which heat of fusion is large, such as hydrated abiethyl alcohol, and the like, can be used for the heating medium 5. The heater 6 is fixed to a fixing plate 9, so as to be sandwiched between the fixing plate 9 and the heat radiating plate 8, with the thermostat 7 being fitted to the heater 6. When the heating device 3 mentioned above is fitted to the inside of a KOTATSU (not shown) and the like, which is a household-use heater, irregular natural energy, converted into electricity, can be accumulated in the device 3 as the latent heat, so that an accumulator of large capacity is not necessary for the heating appliance. |
