PURPOSE:To obtain a printing head having good operational stability to temp. change, by using ceramic having coefficient of thermal expansion almost the same as that of a piezoelectric element as a base frame. CONSTITUTION:The displacement generating mechanism 1 of a printing head is constituted so that a large number of laminated type piezoelectric elements 1b arranged in a circular pattern are fixed to the inside of a cylindrical base frame 1a having a bottom surface and ceramic having coefficient of thermal expansion almost the same as that of each of the piezoelectric element 1b is used as a base frame 1a. When voltage is applied to each piezoelectric element 1b, the piezoelectric element 1b abruptly displaces and, when said piezoelectric element 1b further displaces in a predetermined quantity necessary for printing, the strain energy accumulated in the lever part becomes larger than the attraction force of a lever holding member 1d and the tip the lever 2b is released from the lever holding member 1d and a printing wire 5 is driven in a predetermined amount to freely fly and returns but, since the ceramic having coefficient of thermal expansion almost the same as that of the piezoelectric element is used as the base frame, a printing head having good operational stability to temp. change is obtained. |
