PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of oil irrespective of the axial movement of a drive shaft, by disposing a disk formed with through-holes and mounted on the drive shaft in a box-like casing of a bearing housing, and forming a small hole or holes in the peripheral wall of the box-like casing. CONSTITUTION:In a bearing housing 13, an annular slinger 1 mounted on a drive shaft 12 is disposed in the manner of facing the inner surface of a side wall 18, which is formed with a box-like casing 20 encircling the slinger 1. A small hole or holes 4 are formed in the peripheral wall 23 of the casing 20 in the manner of facing the outer circumferential surface of the slinger 1, and gaps 2, 3 are formed between the side walls 21, 18 and the slinger 1 for absorbing movement of the slinger 1 caused by expansion or contraction of the drive shaft 12. Further, through-holes 9 are formed at the base portion of the slinger 1, so that the slinger effect can be obtained on both sides of the slinger 1. |
