PURPOSE:To obtain a simple detector which provides high working efficiency and high measuring accuracy, by arranging a light guide and an image guide respectively to optically perform transmission of light to a detection head and transmission of detection data from the head which projects light to the inner surface of a pipe to be inspected and catches the reflected light thereof. CONSTITUTION:Flexible tubes 5 and 4 which concurrently serve as driving rope to move a detection head 1 forward and backward are linked to the centers of mounting sections 21b and 21c provided on front and rear plates of a casing 21 piercing them separately in such a manner as to penetrate through the casing 21. A light guide 6 is inserted through the tube 4 while an image guide 7 through the tube 5. Then, a projection lens 22 focuses light projected from the light guide 6 along the axis of a pipe to be inspected onto the inner surface of the pipe P being inspected in a fine ring. On the other hand, one end of the image guide 7 faces an image forming lens 23 concentrically to catch the reflected light from the circumferential direction of the pipe P being inspected to form an image on a 2-D light receiving element 9b via an image forming lens 9a. |
