<p>PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of air within the room and improve the effeciency of the subject water boiler by using supply water for hot water in cooling the outer wall of a cylinder of the Stirling engine and also using a heat exchanger for exhaust gas preheating supply water after cooling. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 3 burning by a gas burner 18 is provided within a casing having a suction hole, and a Stirling engine 2 is provided at the upper part thereof. An exhaust gas heat exchanger 4 is provided in the exhaust gas opening of the main heat exchanger 3, and an exhaust fan 8 is provided in a flue 5 of the exhaust gas. Furthermore, a hydraulic responding device 10 which opens or closes a gas supply valve 15 for supplying gas to the gas burner 18 is provided in the casing. In this case, the exhaust gas of high temperature led into the exhaust gas heat exchanger 4 performs heat exchange with water in a water supply tube 11 within the heat exchanger 4, and hence the hot water supply heat efficiency is improved.</p> |
