发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MELT SPRAYING OF METAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the time for melting and to improve the durability in a nozzle part by melting the metal by arc discharge in an inert gaseous atmosphere then increasing the pressure of the inert gas and melt-spraying the molten metal through the nozzle which is kept cooled at all times. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of metallic ingots 3 to be melted are contained in the containing part 41 of a continous sample feeder 40. After said part is tightly closed, the air in a sealed chamber 20 is evacuated and an inert gas is introduced therein from a gas pressurizing and feeding device 30 to restore the pressure higher than atm. pressure. The ingot 3 is placed in a copper crucible 22 by an operating part 43 for feeding and a prescribed voltage is applied between an electrode 26 for discharge and the crucible 22. The electrode 26 is lowered and arc discharge is initiated between the same and the ingot 3, whereby the ingot 3 is melted. The output of the device 20 is increased to increase the gaseous pressure in the vessel 20, thereby injecting the molten metal in a yarn shape to the outside through the charging port 24A of a nozzle 24. On the other hand, the nozzle 24 is kept cooled at all tmes by the cooling water flowing in a cooling water flowing in a cooling case 25.
