PURPOSE:To enable to shut off gas flow inside a container valve even if the cylinder body is damaged, by employing such an arrangement that a female screw is designed to slide in the opposite direction to the gas flow. CONSTITUTION:When the gas container falls by a shock or some other reason and a female screw 32 comes out, an inner plunger 13 connected to a control pin 11 by the force of a metal piece 23 is drawn out and a ball fits into a recess formed in a retainer 17. At the same time, a plunger 2 is pushed back by the force of a spring 14. Resultantly, a valve provided at the top comes into tight contact with a face 6, so that the gas 31 flow can be isolated from gas 30. After the gas flow is shut off, the female screw 32 is retracted inwards by the internal pressure of a down-stream high-pressure hose or the like. However, since a jig for the control pin 11 and a coil 18 is slid in a hole formed in the metal piece 23, the valve is not opened, so that the supply of gas, oil or the like can be stopped in a reliable manner. |
