PURPOSE:To enable transmission of high horsepower, by a method wherein a belt is constituted by joining a large number of rings with each other, and the rings are made to slide toward a pulley side so that the rings are connected with unevenness of the pulley. CONSTITUTION:Although a belt has an appearance of a flat board, it is formed of rings 1, 1' and 1'' which are joined with each other, in which every ring is slid vertically in a travelling direction of the belt after a convex part 16 and a concave part 17 of pulleys 3 and 4. With this, transmission of high horsepower becomes possible as each of the rings 1, 1' and 1'' are connected with the convex part 16. |
