PURPOSE:To offer a switching regulator of small size and low cost, by functioning a main transformer, in a power supply circuit for a control circuit of self- oscillation using the main transformer. CONSTITUTION:The primary side of a main transformer T is provided with the 1st and 2nd input windings N1 and N2. The 1st winding N1 is brought to switching operation with self-oscillation, and electric power is supplied to auxiliary power supply windings n2 and n3 at the secondary side. After starting, only the 2nd input winding N2 performs switching operation with a control signal to supply electric power to an output winding n1 and both of the auxiliary power supply windings n2 and n3. Thus, an exclusive auxiliary power transformer and major peripheral components can be eliminated. |
