PURPOSE:To improve porosity, filling, and discharge capacity by forming a mixture consisting of active material lead powder and zeolite into a paste-type mixture, applying and filling this on the surface of a lead substrate, and forming a storage battery plate. CONSTITUTION:A paste-type active material is obtained by adding and kneading 0.01l water and 0.01l sulfuric acid to 100g mixture in which 0.05wt% zeolite is added to lead powder with the average particle diameter of 30mu, respectively. A storage battery plate formed by applying and filling this on a lead substrate and aging it. Thus, zeolite has excellent porosity and is a powdered silicate exchange body. As a result, zeolite can be pulverized by mixing lead powder, uniformly dispersed. Besides, porosity can be adjusted without damaging the property of filling and battery performance be improved. |
