<p>A throat plate holding the feed dog of a twin-needle sewing machine has formed therein a pair of parallel spaced guide channels for slidably accommodating respective scoopcarrying edges of a pair of concealed fastener stringer tapes as they are stitched onto a fabric. When seen in a cross section, the guide channels diverge downwardly to prevent accidental disengagement of the scoop-carrying edges of the stringer tapes therefrom.</p> |
