PURPOSE:To reduce the memory capacity, by averaging the digital data with each optional number of N samples which are consecutive in terms of time when the data is stored in a memory and to avoiding missing the correlation of the information equivalent to the N samples. CONSTITUTION:The sample data supplied through a terminal 10 is latched to the latching element 11 and 12 by the timing signal and then fed to an adder 13. The data added together at the adder 13 is fed to a divider 14. Then a division is indicated to the divider 14 by a division signal and an address count-up signal. At the same time, the count value receives +1 for an address counter 16 of a memory 15. Then the memory address is replaced and written into the memory 15 by the timing signal.
