PURPOSE:To make a printer smaller in size and provide the printer with multiple functions, by printing with a screen belt provided with types. CONSTITUTION:When printing, the screen belt 1 having such a construction that ink is easily penetrated through type-shaped areas of the belt 1 is struck against a platen 2 through a printing paper 4 by an ink hammer 3 made of urethane rubber or the like which is impregnated with the ink. The selection of the type at each place is conducted by a timing detecting mechanism 9, and the ink adhered to the screen belt 1 is absorbed by a cleaner 8 which functions also as a screen roller. |
