PURPOSE:To obtain the structure of a filter capable of reducing the clogging thereof and durable to the usage of a long period of time by a method wherein the filter, collecting oily dust or the like contained in air and having the structure in which the direction of most of the constituting fibers are arranged so as to be vertical with respect to the flow of air, is provided in the ventilating fan. CONSTITUTION:A fan motor 2 is provided in the frame 1 of the ventilating fan and the filter 3 is fitted into a holding body 4 so as to cover the front opening of the fan motor. Synthetic fiber is employed as the fibrous body 6 utilized in this filter constituted so as to arrange much more fibers into Y direction, which is vertical direction with respect to the flow direction of the air, than X direction. The particles 7 of oil contained in the air are adhered to the fibrous body 6 when they are passing through this filter, glow gradually to bigger oil drops 8, dripped along the fibrous body 6 and are collected into an oil reservoir 5. |
