<p>In a fuel container for vehicles driven by an internal combustion engine, the tank body and the attachments are produced using the blow die process. The fuel container consists chiefly of ethylene polymers with a density of 0.94 to 0.96 g/cm<3> and a melt flow index MFI 190/21.6 according to DIN 53 735 of 1.6 to 12 g/10 min. Such fuel containers then lead to properties according to the ECE Directive 34, Annex 5 dated 25th July 1975 with Amendment of 1978, if the weight of the tank body GT referred to its surface OT and its volume VT satisfies the relationship GT = 1.06 x OT x VT<1></3> +/- 10%.</p> |
