<p>An apparatus for the slip-ring free transmission of electrical signals between mobile signal locations and stationary signal locations may be used to monitor production machines having a multiplicity of work stations or locations. Signal sources 1 or scanning feelers move along a track 2 between the work stations. A traction device for displacing the signal sources or scanning feelers comprises a cable 5, 6 extending across a desired dimension of the machine, such as the machine width and advantageously also performs the signal transmission function. The cable is guided over suitably fixed deflection rollers 3,4 and movable rollers 7, 8 to the stationary signal locations 11, 12. The movable rollers 7, 8 impart the requisite tension by means of a spring or weight 9, 10 to the traction device. A fixed laid line or conductor leads 13, 14 from the stationary signal locations 11, 12 to an evaluation device 15. <IMAGE></p> |
