PURPOSE:To obtain the solar heat absorber prominent in the selective absorption characteristics and the durability thereof by a method wherein a nickel film, having a leafy or a fibrous crystal form, is formed on a base material and is treated by an oxidizing treatment to form a selective absorption film. CONSTITUTION:Nickel plating is applied on the base material treated by necessary pretreatments by an electrolytic plating method or the like, subsequently, the oxidizing treatment by high-temperature oxidization or a strong oxidizing agent is effected to form the selective absorption film of nickel oxide. The nickel film is provided with fine protrusions and recesses on the surface thereof and the film itself acts as a kind of selective absorption film, therefore, a very good selective absorption characteristic may be obtained when it is joined with the selective absorption film of nickel oxide. |
