PURPOSE:To correctly feed a sheet of paper with a fold, in an automatic cash paying machine or the like, by providing a pick-up roller of high friction coefficient before a separating means and arranging the pick-up roller to a place deviated from a position of the fold. CONSTITUTION:A friction member 3a is arranged in the peripheral surface of a pick-up roller 3 to a place deviated from a folded position of four-fold and three-fold in a note M. In this way, when the note M, stored in a hopper 1 and formed with a fold, is pressed to the pick-up roller 3 by a pressing board 1b, the friction member 3a is adapted to a flat portion without a fold, and the note M is normally fed out without causing the slope. In this way, the pick-up roller is adapted to a position of flat part deviated from a folded position, and a note, even with a residual fold, can be normally fed. |
