PURPOSE:To reduce noise and to improve ability in component peaks discrimination by adding detection signals from splited functional electrodes, and thus obtaining a synthesized electrode current. CONSTITUTION:Splited functional electrodes 11 and 12 are applied with the same potential and after electrode currents are detected independently, the detection outputs are summed up to obtain a synthesized electrode current with the addition value. The addition of the respective detection signals results in the added component peaks as they are, noise appearing between peaks is different for each functional electrode so the part in which the noise is offset by the addition is increased. Thus, noise is reduced and ability in component peak discrimination is improved. |
