PURPOSE:To perform a fine adjustment in vertical and horizontal directions by means of a fine adjustment screw after mounting a frame on a pipe inserting device body and installing a positioning bench on the frame changeably in its position by a pin, and positioning the pipe with the fine adjustment screw. CONSTITUTION:A positioning bench 31 is fixed on a frame 29 by a pin 30, and then a bench 25 is moved and fixed on a prescribed position against the frame 6 by means of a knob 28. A cone part 33 is closely located near a pipe supporting opening 35 through the pipe supporting plate 34 of a heat exchanger by turning the knob 46 of a shaft 45 screwed into a positioning cylinder 32 such that said cone part is inserted into said opening. A position where pipes 8a, 8b are inserted is subjected to a fine adjustment by horizontally and vertically shifting an inserting body 20 by means of fine adjustment screws 26, 41. And a motor is actuated, and the pipes 8a, 8b are inserted into the opening 35. |
